The AHA shares a unique relationship with the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. This relation aims to coordinate efforts for mutual benefit of the Private and Public Tourism Sector in Palestine. Our relation extends to comprise aspcts related to regulation, policies, stratigies, marketing and promotion of Palestine on both domistic and international forums.

A Memorandum of Understanding between the Bethlehem University’s Institute of Hotel Management & Tourism and the Arab Hotel Association (AHA) was signed in October 2003 where the first would host the Palestinian Hospitality and Tourism Resource Center (PHTRC) at the Bethlehem University Campus. An office was fully furnished, equipped and started functioning
AHA, in cooperation with the Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Lodging Institute (EI-AHLA), through the PHTRC, among many other educational programs, had offer distance learning courses in the following areas of specialization:

Rooms Division Management
- Food and Beverage Management
- Marketing and Sales Management
- Accounting and Financial Management
The AHA had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Palestinian Central Berue of Statistics (PCBS) that outlines and guides the relationship between both sides where as, both parties commit to work together to organize the process of data collecting, analyzing and reporting all statistical information related to the Hospitality Industry in Palestine.
